• An Elevate Pipe Boot, specifically designed to be used in roofing applications for flashing of roof penetrations, such as pipe vents.

• Quickseam Pipe Flashings will fit pipes from 0mm - 150mm (top must be cut to correct size).

• Quickseam Pipe Flashings may be used to flash penetrations for both EPDM as well as APP and SBS Modified Bitumen systems.

• Supplied with jubilee clip.

• Must be used with Quickprime Plus to bond the self-adhering base.

More information can be found in the installation guides, but to summarise:

• The EPDM and roof penetration or pipe must be clean, dry & free of foreign materials (as well as any old flashing). Cut the top of the Pipe Boot to match the diameter of the pipe.

• Slide the pipe boot over the penetration, down into position. Chalk around where the base meets the EPDM - then fold the base flange up, ready to apply primer.

• Using your Quickscrub Holder & Fleece, apply an even coverage of Quickprime Plus within the chalked area, plus an additional 10mm around. Leave to go touch-dry & tacky.

• Fold back down the base flange without removing the tape. Then, finding the join in the tape, gently remove and smooth out with your hand as you go. Work in with your Silicone Rubber Roller.

• Next, gently fold down the top flap & apply some Bond & Seal or Lap sealant around the pipe. Fold back up with top fold, which should gently compress the sealant.

• Fix the jubilee clip in position, further compressing the sealant. Clean any excess away.

• Apply Lap Sealant to base flange if required.

If the pipe is too close to the wall, or too proud at the top to slide the boot over: You may need to cut the pipe boot to wrap around, and/or use 9 inch Elevate Formflash & Quickprime Primer to provide additional sealing.

  • Is the jubilee clip enough to seal the top of the pipe boot?
Before the jubilee clip is tightened in position, you must gently fold back the top of the pipe booth, & apply some sealant, such as Bond & Seal or Lap Sealant. You can then fold the boot back onto the sealant, & tighten the jubilee clip is position - compressing the sealant & providing a water-tight finish.
  • Is installing a Pipe Boot easy?
Yes, the design of the Pipe Boot makes it simple enough for DIY use - though care must always be taken & consult the product details & instructions.
  • What if the Pipe Boot doesn't fit my pipe?
There are some occasions the pipe boot can't provide the necessary seal - such as when the pipe is too close to a wall, or too wide. On these occasions, you will need to appropriately use 9 inch Flash Form with Quickprime Primer to seal the area. Consult the installation guides for more advice on this.

To summarise, see below:

Order Processing:

Orders for Flat Roofing Items placed before 12pm midday, are generally processed for dispatch the same day. Orders placed after midday will be processed next day. Delivery:

After dispatch, your order will generally be delivered the next working day. Do note, if you order other roofing trims with your items, these may be delivered separately due to the length of the trims & courier service guidelines.

The delivery of your items will be carefully packaged, signed off, & will be delivered via a courtier network. We strongly advise being present for delivery to inspect your products & sign delivery notes. Additionally, not all courier service trucks have tail lifts, or pallet trolleys. Please be prepared with the necessary person(s) to take delivery of your items, necessary for the size of the order. Depending on the size of items ordered, they may be heavy - use proper lifting technique, we cannot be held liable for any personal injury resulting from the delivery or use of the ordered items.

Notes on the delivery of Elevate EPDM:

If you order EPDM with your items, the rubber will be delivered rolled up for ease of transport. As a result there may be some fold creases and wrinkles - this is normal. To remedy this, the EPDM should be laid to rest, or settle, for a minimum of 1 hour. In colder temperatures, the light use of a heat gun (not a naked flame) can be used to settle the rubber. Don't overheat or touch directly.

Starting your project:

We advise not booking in or arranging an installation team to begin works before the goods have been delivered & inspected. Delays or order mistakes are rare, but can happen. We can't be liable for any costs as a result from delayed or incorrect delivery or items.
