• Heavy Duty Scissors are typically for use in the accurate cutting of your Elevate EPDM & Quickseam Flashing items. They can be used for a variety of other uses though.

• Penny Roller & Silicone Rubber Roller used to work in your EPDM Rubber & Elevate Flashing into position, helping a good bond & to ease out small air pockets. 

• Roller Pack is used for the application of Bonding or Waterbased Adhesive.

• Quickscrub Pads & Handle are used for the application of Elevate Quickprime Plus

  • Does the Pro Tool Kit Include all the installation Items I need
    No, but it does contain some of the key items, at a discounted rate. You may still need some other essential items, like a soft broom, a pole for your roller pack etc.
  • Can heavy duty scissors cut EPDM Rubber
    Yes, these scissors are designed to neatly cut the Elevate EPDM membrane and quickseam flashing products - though they have a range of uses.
  • How do I clean the scissors?
    The metal is quite resistant, so an Elevate Cleaner for stubborn sealants & adhesives can be used to clean the blades & extend life expectancy. Wonder Wipes & splice wash can also be used for general cleaning.
  • What is the difference between the Penny Roller & Silicon Rubber Roller?
    The silicone Rubber Roller has a wider surface area, allowing better use on flat surfaces. The Penny Roller, having a much narrower wheel, like a penny, can work into corners and more awkward details. A combination of both often provides the best bond.
  • Do I need to use the Rollers on all of the EPDM Rubber?
    No, on areas you have bonded your EPDM to the decking with waterbased deck adhesive, a soft broom will aid bonding and removing any airpockets or creases (stubborn creases may need settling out before bonding). On verticals where bonding adhesive is used, the Silicone Rubber Roller will assist the bond, as well as smoothing with hand or soft broom.
  • Do I need to use a Roller & Fleece with the Elevate Bonding Spray Adhesive?
    No, the aerosol spray adhesive requires no application, other than the spray of the adhesive to the EPDM & prepared surface. The Roller & Fleece should be used when using the liquid bonding adhesive, as this will required evenly spready to the EPDM & prepared surface.
  • Can I reuse the Fleece after a single use?
    Providing the adhesive on the roller from its initial application is still wet, & not cured, it can be used (such as when gluing two halves, or two roofs in one working period). Once the adhesive on the fleece has dried, it must be disposed of and a new fleece used - as this will compromise the application of the chosen adhesive to the prepared surface.

Order Processing:

Orders for Flat Roofing Items placed before 12pm midday, are generally processed for dispatch the same day. Orders placed after midday will be processed next day. Orders placed on bank holidays or weekends will be processed the next working day. A member of our team will update you via the contact information provided.

Delivery:

After dispatch, your order will generally be delivered the next working day. Do note, if you order other roofing trims with your items, these may be delivered separately due to the length of the trims & courier service guidelines.

The delivery of your items will be carefully packaged, signed off, & will be delivered via a courtier network. We strongly advise being present for delivery to inspect your products & sign delivery notes. Additionally, not all courier service trucks have tail lifts, or pallet trolleys. Please be prepared with the necessary person(s) to take delivery of your items, necessary for the size of the order. Depending on the size of items ordered, they may be heavy - use proper lifting technique, we cannot be held liable for any personal injury resulting from the delivery or use of the ordered items.

Notes on the delivery of Elevate EPDM:

If you order EPDM with your items, the rubber will be delivered rolled up for ease of transport. As a result there may be some fold creases and wrinkles - this is normal. To remedy this, the EPDM should be laid to rest, or settle, for a minimum of 1 hour. In colder temperatures, the light use of a heat gun (not a naked flame) can be used to settle the rubber. Don't overheat or touch directly.

We advise not booking in or arranging an installation team to begin works before the goods have been delivered & inspected. Delays or order mistakes are rare, but can happen. We can't be liable for any costs as a result from delayed or incorrect delivery or items.
