Elevate Quickseam Corner Flashing is a 216 mm in diameter, round piece of uncured EPDM, factory laminated to QuickSeam Tape.

β€’ It is designed to flash outside corners or to be used as a cover patch for repairs where appropriate.

β€’ Used in conjunction with Elevate Quickprime Primer & Quickscrub Holder & Fleece.

β€’ When installing below 15 degrees, the use of a heat gun (not touching directly), will increase the flexibility & adherence of the flashing. Don't overheat.

The area the corner flashing is being applied to, must be clean, dry & free from debris. On cold days with ambient temperature below 5ΒΊC, the use of a heat gun (don't overheat or touch directly) is recommended to warm the Quickseam Corner Flashing and to ensure good formability. On normal days, preheating of the product is not necessary.

EPDM surfaces and/or mating surfaces must be prepared with QuickPrime Plus, using a QuickScrubber tool.  Restore the primer product to room temperature prior to use if exposed to temperatures below 15ΒΊC for prolonged periods.

More information can be found in the installation guides, but to summarise:

β€’ First ensuring above advice, apply primer with quickscrub holder & fleece to necessary area.

β€’ Wait to go touch-dry & tacky

β€’ Peel backing of corner flashing, & neatly apply in position. Start at the top, working down to your deck EPDM. Be sure to work around each corner before smoothing the flashing onto the deck base.

β€’ Work into place with your Silicone Rubber Roller & Penny Roller. Seal exposed edges with Lap Sealant if required.

Note: Flashing should ideally overlap EPDM at least 75mm where cut around corners. When installing multiple pieces, start at the bottom and work up - ensuring correct water run-off direction on overlaps.

  • Can I stick Elevate Flashing down with bonding adhesive?
No. You must use Elevate Quickprime Plus to prime the EPDM & surface your seaming product will adhere to. The waterbased deck adhesive or bonding adhesive is not suitable for this.
  • Do I need to seal the edges of the flashing?
Providing you follow installation instructions, & conduct the work under appropriate weather conditions, the flashing will seam to the EPDM and not require additional sealing. However, during this curing process, Lap Sealant can seal the edges until the seam fully bonds. Our installation team applies this as an extra layer of protection to ensure long-term performance.
  • Can the flashing be stretched?
Yes, Elevate Quickseam flashing can stretch to allow its application. Do note, it is not designed to be over stretched. It's flexibility is more directed at allowing 3D moulding around awkward corners & details such as pipework, skylight corners and drains.
  • Can Elevate flashing be used to repair other surfaces?
Yes, Elevate Quickseam flashing can provide a long-term high performance seal to a range of surfaces. Note, all surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned, dry & free from all debris & foreign bodies. It must also always be used with the Elevate Quickprime Plus.
  • What happens if I get air pockets in the flashing?
Some air pockets can be gently smoothed out with your Silicone Rubber Roller & Penny Roller. Start from the centre, and work towards the edges. Never start at the edge and work in - as this will trap the pocket. It you have air pockets sufficient to affect the seal - you may need to pierce/cut this & place a new patch over the top.

To summarise, see below:

Order Processing:

Orders for Flat Roofing Items placed before 12pm midday, are generally processed for dispatch the same day. Orders placed after midday will be processed next day. Orders placed on bank holidays or weekends will be processed the next working day. A member of our team will update you via the contact information provided.

After dispatch, your order will generally be delivered the next working day. Do note, if you order other roofing trims with your items, these may be delivered separately due to the length of the trims & courier service guidelines.

The delivery of your items will be carefully packaged, signed off, & will be delivered via a courtier network. We strongly advise being present for delivery to inspect your products & sign delivery notes. Additionally, not all courier service trucks have tail lifts, or pallet trolleys. Please be prepared with the necessary person(s) to take delivery of your items, necessary for the size of the order. Depending on the size of items ordered, they may be heavy - use proper lifting technique, we cannot be held liable for any personal injury resulting from the delivery or use of the ordered items.

Notes on the delivery of Elevate EPDM:

If you order EPDM with your items, the rubber will be delivered rolled up for ease of transport. As a result there may be some fold creases and wrinkles - this is normal. To remedy this, the EPDM should be laid to rest, or settle, for a minimum of 1 hour. In colder temperatures, the light use of a heat gun (not a naked flame) can be used to settle the rubber. Don't overheat or touch directly.

Starting your project:

We advise not booking in or arranging an installation team to begin works before the goods have been delivered & inspected. Delays or order mistakes are rare, but can happen. We can't be liable for any costs as a result from delayed or incorrect delivery or items.
