• A specially formulated sealant designed for maximum adhesion to single ply membranes. Available in Black only.

• Bonds your Roofing Edge Trim, External & Internal corners, End caps and Joint Clips to EPDM Membranes.

• This can also be used to seal your brick chase when your EPDM and/or L-shape wall trim dresses into your brickwork.

• Approximately 1 Tube per 3 meters of trim.

• Store in original unopened containers, at temperatures between 15 - 27 degrees until ready for use. When exposed to lower temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use.

• Shelf life of one year can be expected if stored in original containers between 15 - 27 degrees. Shelf life will be shortened if exposed to sustained elevated temperatures.

• Using your utility Knife or snips, cut the end cap & your nozzle to a suitable size and chamfer. Place into your silicone gun.

• Apply the required amount and continuous bead to the necessary surface. For example, a Upvc External Corner will only required a small continuous bead provide adhesion and stop excess bulging out.

• To seal your roofing edge trims, apply a continuous bead to the back on the trim ready to stick in position (you will still need to mechanically fix).

• To seal your brick chase, first ensure it is clean, dry & free from debris. Your EPDM/L-shape wall trim must already be bonded in position, into the chase. Then thoroughly & neatly fill the chase, finishing flush with the brick face.

• Note: We recommend using the foam tape with your Kerb roofing edge trim to stop the actual water run-off.

  • Can Bond & Seal sealant be used to repair rubber membrane?
Not long term, it may temporarily waterproof a small tear/puncture. Instead, you should use the necessary sized flashing, such as 9 inch Flashform, combined with the Quickprime Plus, Holder & Fleece. Ensure the area is clean, dry & free from debris first.
  • Can Bond & Seal be used to seal trims of fascia boards to my roof?
Yes, it is specifically designed to Bond & Seal your EPDM to roofing edge trims & other surfaces. You will still need to mechanically fix the trim or fascia with pins or fasteners. Applying a continuous bead of Bond & Seal the the reverse of your trim, and/or where it meets your roofline, will provide a good seal.
  • Can Bond & Seal be used to seal a brick chase?
Yes, once your EPDM and/or L-shaped wall trim is bonded & secured to your chase - thoroughly & neatly fill the chase with Bond & Seal. Ensure the chase if clean, dry & free from debris first.

We strongly advise reading our Deliveries & Returns information, to fully understand the delivery of your item(s).

To summarise, see below:

Order Processing:

Orders for Flat Roofing Items placed before 12pm midday, are generally processed for dispatch the same day. Orders placed after midday will be processed next day. Orders placed on bank holidays or weekends will be processed the next working day. A member of our team will update you via the contact information provided.

Delivery:

After dispatch, your order will generally be delivered the next working day. Do note, if you order other roofing trims with your items, these may be delivered separately due to the length of the trims & courier service guidelines.

The delivery of your items will be carefully packaged (particularly liquids), signed off, & will be delivered via a courtier network. We strongly advise being present for delivery to inspect your products, check liquids, & sign delivery notes. Additionally, not all courier service trucks have tail lifts, or pallet trolleys. Please be prepared with the necessary person(s) to take delivery of your items, necessary for the size of the order. Depending on the size of items ordered, they may be heavy - use proper lifting technique, we cannot be held liable for any personal injury resulting from the delivery or use of the ordered items.

Notes on the delivery of Elevate EPDM:

If you order EPDM with your items, the rubber will be delivered rolled up for ease of transport. As a result there may be some fold creases and wrinkles - this is normal. To remedy this, the EPDM should be laid to rest, or settle, for a minimum of 1 hour. In colder temperatures, the light use of a heat gun (not a naked flame) can be used to settle the rubber. Don't overheat or touch directly.

Starting your project:

We advise not booking in or arranging an installation team to begin works before the goods have been delivered & inspected. Delays or order mistakes are rare, but can happen. We can't be liable for any costs as a result from delayed or incorrect delivery or items.
