Deliveries & Returns

We take the delivery of your orders seriously & strive provide a good, hassle free service. 

To manage delivery expectations & ensure little or no confusion, please read the following information.

General Guidelines:

Any delivery dates provided are not a guarantee. Whilst we almost always manage to stick to estimated delivery schedules, when working with couriers, we can't guarantee the delivery of your items to specific timelines. As such, please do not book or arrange for contractors to install the items until the goods have been delivered & inspected. The Seller is not responsible for any costs resulting from delayed delivery.

The Lincs Groups listed products to be sold, may be delivered directly by our own suppliers, to save you the end user, multiple deliveries. In any of these instances, the delivery guidelines of the lead supplier take precedence. Please get in touch for the T&C's of our supply partners. 

Depending on what you have ordered, your delivery may arrive via separate couriers, & on separate occasions. Please refer to any sub-sections below.

Occasionally, mistakes & human error occur. If ourselves or the courier service makes an error with your order: Firstly, please double check the error is with the Seller/Courier, & not the Buyer. Secondly, please notify us immediately in a respectful & responsible manner, & our team will do their best to provide updates, advice and/or a reasonable solution.

Deliveries of EPDM Rubber Roofing Items:

With the exception of EPDM on rolls, orders placed weekdays before midday will generally be delivered next working day. Orders placed Friday before 12pm will generally be delivered Monday.

Orders placed at the weekend will be processed Monday, ready for delivery Tuesday.

If you have ordered roofing trims with your EPDM Rubber order, these may arrive separately, due to their length.

Deliveries of Triple Glazed Flat Roof Skylights:

Most UK mainland skylights have a delivery time of 2-3 days. Larger units, or certain areas of the UK may take 3-5 days or longer. We will keep you updated of the status.

The delivery of your Skylight is Kerbside only. The delivery driver is not obligated or required to assist in the manoeuvring of the the skylight onto the site, or the roof.

Depending on the size & weight of your skylight, the Buyer may want to arrange suitable manual lifting assistance, or even mechanical aid. 

Delivery of Flood Defence Items:

Orders received before 12.00pm will normally be despatched on the same working day. Orders received after 12.00pm (Monday to Thursday) will be despatched on the following working day. Orders received after 12.00pm on Fridays or Saturdays, Sundays and Public Bank Holidays will be despatched on the next working day.

After dispatch, items are generally delivered in 2-3 working days, unless otherwise stated.

Shipping is not available to PO Box or BFPO addresses. Shipping to Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Ireland may take slightly longer. 

Delivery of Steel Framed Garden Rooms:

Orders placed before 12pm weekdays, are generally noted for dispatch or manufacturing the same day. After dispatch, delivery is typically 3-5 working days. Any items not currently in stock, or which are bespoke, typically take around 2-3 weeks to manufacture & deliver. Please bear in mind for bespoke rooms, time taken for liaising between Buyer & Seller will also matter.

The delivery of your steel framed building is Kerbside only. The driver is not obligated to assist in the moving and lifting of the delivery other than the drop-off of your items. Please ensure someone is present to take delivery & inspect/sign-off items. We strongly recommend the necessary amount of people to manually transport all items from the courier truck to the necessary location.

We also advise only booking any contractors in once your delivery has been completed & signed off - as we can't be held liable for any costs result from failed/late delivery.

Damaged Items & Returns:

We strive to make sure deliveries are made within the indicated time frame, are free from damage & are as ordered. However, on rare occasions orders may not be completed perfectly. Please read the below information to know our terms and conditions.

You must check all delivered items to ensure they are in good condition prior to signing the delivery notice. This can include opening any boxes to inspect items. Please also check the number of items to check they match the order & delivery details.

We advise checking all materials (especially liquids & adhesives for spillages) before transporting them to site and/or organising contractors, as we cannot be held liable for any consequential costs of an incorrect/damaged order, other than the items themselves.

If the delivery is to be left unsigned for & uninspected (at Buyers instruction), we cannot be held liable for any damage or shortage of delivered products. Damaged items or incorrect items must be identified and noted on the delivery notes immediately. Failure to do so can result in ineligibility of a return or refund. 

As per regulations, purchasers have a *7-day cooling off period from the date of delivery, to notify us of returns. Returns can then processed for refund. The refund does not include any initial delivery costs and incurs a 10% restocking fee. Carriage costs are to be paid for by the purchaser.

*This does not apply to bespoke items such sizes of EPDM rubber as this item is cut to measure, and therefore subsequentially non-returnable (unless evidently faulty).

Additionally, all returns must: Be in appropriate packaging to ensure safety of transit; use a carriage option which uses a traceable shipping method; be in original condition & accompanied by original packaging – items damaged during transit/shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser. Failure to follow these instructions may result in void refunds and/or warranties.

Billing address & delivery address:

The Lincs Group LTD take scams & Fraud extremely seriously. On your first order, if not paying by Debit or Bank Transfer, you’re your billing address must match your shipping address – this restriction may change at our discretion on future orders. This is to help ensure illegal methods of payment are not made & to protect both ourselves and the purchaser.

Additionally, you can arrange to pay via Bank Transfer &/or Debit Card to avoid this. Please get in touch with us to arrange this.
